Strengthening our community through giving and education

The charitable mission of the Wenatchee Valley Medical Group is to support the health and quality of life for all residents of our region through meaningful support of projects, events, people, and organizations.

For over 70 years, the Wenatchee Valley Medical Group has been providing top quality medical care in North Central Washington. We are an affiliate of Confluence Health. Made up of over 300 physicans, we pride ourselves on giving back to our four county region in a variety of ways.

How we support our communities…

Annually, the Wenatchee Valley Medical Group donates over $500,000 to our communities. We do this through the Community Partnership Fund in conjunction with Confluence Health, Peter Rutherford Professional Endowment Fund, The Community Foundation of NCW, the YMCA’s Building What Matters Campaign and many others.

Monetary Donations

Many of our physicians have provided education to our citizens at various events including Pybus University, Doc Talks at the Miller Street Conference Center, NCW Library Series on Healthy Living, volunteering in classrooms and more!

Volunteerism and Advocacy

We also support community events through volunteerism and personal donations, as well as provide healthcare advocacy. Many of our physicians serve on community boards as well as state and national professional organizations.

About the Wenatchee Valley Medical Group

The Wenatchee Valley Medical Group serves North Central Washington as the largest physician group affiliated with Confluence Health. Its history began with the founding of the Wenatchee Valley Medical Center (WVMC) by three physicians in the 1940s, born from a vision of bringing high-quality, multispecialty, integrated healthcare to the Wenatchee Valley. Over the next 70 years, WVMC grew into a large healthcare system that provided care across its four-county region and now includes 300 physicians in roughly 50 primary care and specialty disciplines. In 2013, WVMC and Central Washington Hospital affiliated to form Confluence Health with the vision to continue providing high level, comprehensive care locally.
